Pressure on ADC to Nominate Peter Obi for 2027 Ticket

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) is facing increasing pressure to award its 2027 presidential ticket to Peter Obi after a significant nationwide march organized by the Village Boy Movement (VBM). This event, described as a "2 million man march," took place simultaneously across multiple states including Abia, Adamawa, Anambra, Ebonyi, Plateau, Jigawa, Kaduna, Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Kogi, and Edo on Saturday.

The VBM, led by Tochukwu Ezeok, aims to demonstrate grassroots support for Obi's candidacy and expand ADC's membership base. The initiative is part of a broader political strategy to translate public sentiment into electoral force.
