APC Group Criticizes Ondo Government Over Primaries

The Ondo APC Progress Mind Alliance, a coalition of stakeholders within the All Progressives Congress (APC), has condemned the Ondo State government for allegedly deploying state resources to discredit the National Working Committee (NWC) following the party's primary elections. The group described the NWC's decision to review the outcomes of the senatorial and House of Representatives primaries as necessary to uphold the party's constitutional integrity.

They expressed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's leadership, commending his vision for strengthening internal democracy within the APC. The coalition, coordinated by Wole Ogunlad, rejected accusations against the NWC and emphasized that the committee acted within its constitutional powers.

They also expressed concern over the state government's actions, which they believe betray the trust placed in party leadership. The group praised the NWC's commitment to due process and the rule of law while condemning the alleged misuse of state apparatus to malign the committee's decisions.
