Ayodele Predicts NDC's Struggles in 2027 Election

Primate Elijah Ayodele, founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, expressed skepticism regarding the electoral prospects of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), and his running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, for the 2027 presidential election. In a video shared on X, Ayodele stated that the NDC made a strategic error by choosing to contest the election independently rather than merging with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to form a coalition.

He noted that Obi and Kwankwaso had previously left the ADC in May due to internal divisions and ongoing court cases within the party. Ayodele remarked, “Instead of you going as a solo party, you would have merged with the ADC and form a coalition,” indicating that the NDC's independent stance has weakened their chances in the upcoming election.

He concluded that he does not foresee Obi and Kwankwaso achieving success in the 2027 presidential election.
