Governor Aliyu Urges Community Development for Peace

During a traditional turbaning ceremony held in Wamakko Local Government Area, Sokoto State Governor Dr. Ahmad Aliyu emphasized the importance of community development in restoring and sustaining peace and security across the state.

He addressed the newly turbaned district head, Alhaji Ahmad Barad, and called for a collaborative approach to tackle various challenges affecting the community. Governor Aliyu assured that the state government would provide the necessary support for the new district head to succeed in his role.

He highlighted the need for the new leader to draw on the wealth of experience from the highly revered Baraden Wamakko family to elevate the district's leadership. The ceremony also saw the presence of Sultan Sokoto Dr.

Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar and Professor Sambo Wali Junaidu, who pledged their support for the new district head.
