Sokoto Governor Aliyu Reports Progress Against Banditry

During a recent executive council meeting, Sokoto State Governor Ahmadu Aliyu declared that the state is making significant progress in the fight against banditry and related crimes. He expressed optimism regarding ongoing security operations, which are reportedly yielding results, particularly in 13 local government areas affected by insecurity.

Governor Aliyu reaffirmed the administration's commitment to ensuring the safety of Sokoto State residents and emphasized that the fight against banditry remains a top priority. He vowed not to relent until displaced residents can safely return to their ancestral homes.

The governor also highlighted the importance of community involvement, urging residents to provide credible intelligence to assist security agencies in tracking down criminal elements. He reiterated the government's support for security forces, pledging to enhance their operational capacity to protect lives and property.
