Governor Aliyu Urges Community Development for Peace

On a recent Sunday, Governor Dr. Ahmad Aliyu of Sokoto State emphasized the critical role of community development in restoring and sustaining peace and security across the state.

This statement was made during the traditional turbaning ceremony for the newly appointed district head of Wamakko, Alhaji Ahmad Barad. The event took place at the Wamakko Local Government Area headquarters.

Governor Aliyu called on the new district heads to consult widely and make decisions that positively impact various domains within their communities. He assured them of the Sokoto State Government's unwavering support for their success in leadership roles.

Additionally, Sultan of Sokoto, Dr. Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar, represented by Professor Sambo Wali Junaidu, pledged support for the new district head, highlighting the importance of collaboration and experience in achieving community goals.
