Akindele Urges Unity for Tinubu's Re-election in 2027

Jumok Akindele, the former Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, has called on fellow senatorial aspirants to prioritize the re-election of President Bola Tinubu as a top priority ahead of the 2027 general elections. Announcing her intent to contest for the senatorial seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Ondo South Senatorial District, Akindele stressed the importance of party unity and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure victory for Tinubu.

She highlighted that the party in Ondo State has set a target to deliver no less than one million votes for the president. Akindele warned that internal divisions could undermine collective goals and urged aspirants to focus on strategic actions rather than personal ambitions.

She emphasized that the pursuit of individual goals should not fracture the party's foundation, which is essential for maintaining political relevance and achieving electoral success.
