Tanimola's Death Raises Questions in Appointment Saga

Dolapo Babatund Tanimola was identified in connection with a controversial appointment letter linked to Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, who is currently facing eight counts of forgery and impersonation. Tanimola's death on October 22, 2025, left investigators unable to question him about his alleged role in procuring the disputed letter.

The investigation intensified following Adeyemi's claims that Tanimola assisted him in obtaining the letter. Tanimola was photographed with several prominent Nigerian leaders, including former President Goodluck Jonathan and former Head of State Yakubu Gowon, suggesting he had access to influential circles.

His funeral service took place at Saint Matthew Anglican Church in Maitama, Abuja, on November 8, 2025. The investigation into Adeyemi's activities continues, with authorities seeking to clarify Tanimola's involvement and the nature of his connections to high-profile political figures.
