Yomi Fabiyi Demands Investigation into Temitope Osoba's Death

Yomi Fabiyi, a Nollywood actor and human rights activist, has demanded an investigation into the death of actress Temitope Osoba, who reportedly informed the police about a matter shortly before her demise. Fabiyi's organization, Break The Silence Foundation, has submitted a petition to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to initiate a legitimate probe into the circumstances surrounding Osoba's death.

He expressed concern over the decision to proceed with her burial without an autopsy, emphasizing the need for due process. Fabiyi stated, “Rushing to bury her in these circumstances without due process does not justify love, affection, or otherwise for her.” He affirmed that the investigation would continue regardless of the burial arrangements, which are set for Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Iperu Remo, Ogun State.

Following her death, Osoba's family has warned against speculative reports regarding the circumstances of her passing and urged reliance on official family communications.
