Osimhen assisted Yunus Akgün for the second goal and netted his first just before half-time, adding another in the 80th minute.

This performance marks Osimhen's direct contribution to at least one goal in each of his last fourteen league matches, totaling sixteen goals and six assists during this period. Previously, he scored twice in Galatasaray's opening match, a 2-2 draw against Çorum.

His impressive form has caught the attention of Arsenal, who have initiated talks with Galatasaray regarding a transfer. Osimhen, currently earning a net annual salary of €20 million and under contract until 2029, may need to accept a pay cut for a move to the Premier League, as negotiations are still in early stages with significant differences in personal terms.
