12-Year-Old David Fasetire Seeks Support Against Cancer

David Fasetire, a 12-year-old midfielder from the Super Accurate Football Academy in Ikotun, Lagos State, is appealing for financial support in his ongoing battle against a neck tumor. His parents disclosed that they have spent a significant amount of money seeking solutions since the problem began early last year, which has worsened over time.

David has been treated at two private hospitals, Igando General Hospital, and Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), where he was eventually referred to the oncology department. Despite the extensive medical care, the family has faced financial strain, leading them to seek assistance from the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Lagos State Football Association (LSFA), and other philanthropists.

David is currently a junior secondary school student in JS1 and has a vision for his future in football. His father, a sports journalist, has made a personal appeal for support to help his son.
