Property Dispute Involving Iyabo Obasanjo Faces Court Setback

A property dispute suit against Iyabo Obasanjo and others has encountered a setback as neither the plaintiff's lawyer nor the defense counsel appeared in court. The case, presided over by Justice Moham Umar, was initially scheduled for mention on March 30, 2025, but has now been adjourned until June 10, 2025.

The plaintiff, Na Allah, is seeking to restrain the defendants from trespassing or altering a property located at plot 4254, Cadastral Zone A04, measuring approximately 1.67 hectares in Asokoro District, FCT Abuja. The defendants include former Senator Philip Aduda and others.

Justice Umar previously denied an ex parte motion filed by the plaintiff for an interim injunction to prevent the defendants from interfering with the property. The plaintiff's motion, filed on January 13, 2025, argues that the defendants' actions could lead to irreparable damage.
