Protesters Demand Action for Abducted Borno Schoolchildren

Protesters gathered in Maiduguri, Borno State, demanding the rescue of schoolchildren abducted from the Mussa Lassa community in Askira Uba Local Government Area. The rally, organized by Suleiman Muham, featured placards with messages urging the federal government to deploy resources for the rescue of the abducted students.

Protesters expressed their commitment to stand against terrorism and called for unity in addressing the threat. Muham Mustapha voiced concerns over the federal government's perceived inaction regarding the abduction of schoolchildren, including those from Oyo State.

He urged the government to engage youth in vocational training and business opportunities to deter them from criminal activities and warned against paying ransom, which could worsen the situation. The protesters emphasized the need for the government to provide necessary equipment to security agencies to combat the Boko Haram insurgency effectively.
