Providus Bank Expands with New Branch in Ado Ekiti

Providus Bank PLC has officially opened a new branch in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State, as part of its strategic initiative to deepen its market presence and promote financial inclusion. This expansion follows the bank's successful compliance with the Central Bank of Nigeria's recapitalization requirements, which are set to be fully met by January 2025.

Deoy Ojuroy, the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of Providus Bank, stated that this expansion aligns with the bank's broader plan to strengthen its presence across key economic hubs nationwide. The bank's growth strategy focuses on supporting real sector activities and enhancing access to financial services for businesses and individuals.

Ojuroy reaffirmed the bank's strong capital base and noted that disciplined risk and capital management will continue to underpin its expansion efforts.
