NOA Director Advocates Peace During Ramadan and Lent

On Thursday, Mr. Ahmad Ibrahim, the director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Jigawa State, extended greetings to Muslims and Christians worldwide as they commence the holy months of Ramadan and Lent. In a statement signed by Sarah Ogodo, the head of media and communication for NOA Jigawa State, Ibrahim highlighted the rare coincidence of both observances beginning on the same day.

He described this convergence as a divine invitation to transcend differences and rediscover shared human urgencies through prayer, action, charity, forgiveness, and self-discipline. Ibrahim urged citizens to intensify their prayers against insecurity and other vices confronting Nigeria.

He reaffirmed the agency's commitment to fostering an egalitarian society and emphasized the significance of this season of fasting in promoting unity and peace across Nigeria.
