Ramsey Nouah on Sustaining Success in Nollywood

Ramsey Nouah, a veteran Nollywood actor, articulated in an Instagram interview that sustaining success in the entertainment industry is more challenging than achieving it. He emphasized that discipline and consistency are crucial for a lasting career.

At 55 years old, Nouah reflected on his over three-decade journey in the industry, noting that many observers fail to recognize the hard work behind the scenes. He gained prominence in the early 1990s with his role as Jeff in a television soap opera and earned the nickname "Lover Boy" through various romantic lead roles.

His career has evolved, with recent complex roles, including Uncle B in a Netflix production. He is currently involved in a highly anticipated project, reprising his role as Captain Dewa in a period drama set during Nigeria's 1977 FESTAC cultural festival, alongside Rita Dominic and Daniel Etim Effiong.

Additionally, he is developing an untitled historical drama about the 1803 Igbo Landing event, showcasing his ambition as both an actor and filmmaker.
