CRA Datapro to Train Journalists on AI in Financial Reporting

On October 5, 2023, CRA Datapro, a technology-driven credit rating agency, will conduct a virtual training program for media practitioners. This initiative is designed to enhance journalists' understanding of the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) tools on financial reporting and analysis.

The training, themed "Report Financial Analysis and AI," will involve participants from print and electronic media, financial analysts, and public capital market professionals. Mr.

Oladel Adeoy, the Executive Director and Chief Rating Officer of CRA Datapro, emphasized that financial reports are no longer merely numbers but require trust, transparency, and resilience. The training aims to empower media practitioners to interpret dynamic data effectively.

Victoria Balogun, a Senior Financial Analyst, stated that the primary objective is to equip journalists with practical knowledge of how AI tools are transforming financial reporting and analysis. This program is part of CRA Datapro's corporate social responsibility efforts, which began in 2021, to raise public awareness about the value proposition of the credit rating industry.
