Atanda Advocates for Unified Digital Governance in Nigeria

During a panel session themed "Building the Digital Backbone of Government," Atanda highlighted the foundational gaps that continue to shape Nigeria's digital journey, stressing the importance of a cohesive technological deployment strategy. Deputy Speaker of the House, Hon.

Benjamin Kalu, underscored the need to anchor digital transformation in citizen outcomes, advocating for a "digital-first" government strategy. He pointed out that technology should not be an afterthought and that effective legislation is crucial for shaping the digital landscape.

Atanda further stressed the importance of understanding the broader ecosystem to craft effective legislation and urged a rethink of procurement strategies to leverage Nigeria's human capital and institutional capacity.
