ADC Denies Talks with PRP Ahead of 2027 Elections

Bolaji Abdullahi, the spokesperson for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), issued a statement refuting reports that suggested the party was in talks with the People's Redemption Party (PRP) ahead of the 2027 general elections. Abdullahi described these claims as speculative and untrue, asserting that the coalition leadership has not engaged in discussions with any political party at this time.

He highlighted that the ADC remains focused on challenging what they consider unlawful actions taken against its leadership. Abdullahi expressed confidence in the judiciary to uphold the rule of law and reiterated the party's commitment to ensuring that illegal actions against its leadership and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) agents are addressed.

He emphasized the importance of safeguarding multiparty democracy in Nigeria and the ADC's intention to expand coalitions to unite opposition elements in the country.
