Reps probe N1.06trn NG-CARES social intervention funds

The House of Representatives is investigating the N1.06 trillion NG-CARES social intervention funds, as revealed by Chairman of the committee, Hon. Abubakar Kusada.

The investigation aims to address the lack of impact felt by Nigerians from the government's intervention programs, despite the release of a significant sum for social safety net palliatives. Kusada emphasized the need to unravel the disconnect between the funds provided and their utilization, ensuring transparency and accountability.
