Oyo Principal Receives Car After 56-Day Kidnapping Ordeal

Mr. Rachael Alamu, the principal of Community High School in Oriir Local Government Area, was honored with a brand new Toyota Camry donated by Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, the APC governorship candidate for Oyo State, following her rescue from a 56-day kidnapping ordeal.

The presentation took place on a Monday and was attended by members representing various constituencies, including Akeem Adeyemi. Alamu, who was abducted along with several pupils and teachers during an attack on the school, displayed remarkable resilience throughout her captivity.

The donation serves as a gesture of recognition for her dedication to education despite the traumatic experience. The Oyo State government has since ensured that Alamu and other victims received medical attention and psychological assessments after their rescue.
