Oyo School Principal Shares Harrowing Kidnapping Story

Mr. Rachael Alamu, the principal of a school in Oyo State, recounted her harrowing experience of being kidnapped, which included the loss of two teachers, Mr.

Micheal and a second unnamed deacon, during their captivity. Alamu described the emotional and physical trauma endured, stating that they were forced to trek through the forest for four hours at night to regain their freedom, resulting in injuries and bruises.

She clarified that there was no sexual assault during their captivity. Reflecting on her teaching career, Alamu expressed uncertainty about returning to work, emphasizing the need for healing from the trauma.

She expressed deep gratitude to God for preserving her life, as well as appreciation for the efforts of the federal and Oyo State governments, security agencies, and the prayers of Nigerians throughout the ordeal.
