Resolute Forum Urges Oyebanji to Boost Ekiti Development

The Resolute Forum, a socio-cultural organization based in Oke Ako, Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State, has called on Governor Abiodun Oyebanji to deepen development and revive the educational sector after his re-election on June 20. The forum, which supported Oyebanji during his campaign, views his victory as a fresh mandate to build on his administration's previous achievements.

In a statement signed by President Olaiya Kehinde and General Secretary Abayomi Adeleye, the forum urged the governor to treat all parts of the state and its people as equal stakeholders. They highlighted the need for significant investments in agriculture, small-scale businesses, and education to create jobs and boost economic prosperity.

The forum also commended Oyebanji for resolving a 25-year interregnum by approving the installation of the Owa of Oke Ako and appealed for the establishment of a College of Agriculture in the community to promote agricultural education.
