Edo Governor Cautions MOWAA Against Encroaching on State Assets

Edo State Governor Mondai Okpebholo issued a warning to the Museum of West African Art (MOWAA) to respect boundaries and not encroach on Edo State assets, particularly the Edo Specialist Hospital's land. The Governor expressed displeasure at the encroachment, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding public institutions.

MOWAA's Executive Director, Philip Iheanacho, clarified that the museum project was initiated by the previous administration and assured that it was within the approved boundaries. The Governor reaffirmed support for cultural investments while prioritizing essential public services.
