Chris Ogunbanjo Foundation's Free Eye Outreach Transforms Lives in Erunwon, Ogun State

The Chris Ogunbanjo Foundation, in partnership with the Ibrahim Muritala Foundation and MISA Limited, organized a free eye outreach program in Erunwon, Ogun State on November 26-27, 2025. The outreach initiative aimed to deliver essential eye care services to the community, addressing refractive errors, providing prescription glasses, and performing cataract surgeries at no cost to beneficiaries.

The program benefitted over 8,000 individuals, with 1,000 receiving screenings and consultations, 300 receiving medical management for various eye conditions, and 45 undergoing successful cataract surgeries. The Foundation's multi-stage medical intervention included post-operative care to ensure long-term treatment success.

The outreach not only improved the vision and quality of life for residents but also had socio-economic implications by enhancing economic stability and well-being for families in the community.
