ADIafrica Offers Free Eye Screening to Rivers Residents

On Saturday, ADIafrica, in partnership with the International Education Foundation, launched a free medical eye outreach in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, benefiting 300 residents. The initiative, spearheaded by ADIafrica's International Principal Dan Mbachi, reflects the organization's mission to promote sustainable development through health solutions.

Mbachi emphasized that untreated vision issues hinder children's learning and adults' work capabilities. The outreach provided eye tests, visual field assessments, and access to eyeglasses and contact lenses at no cost.

Mbachi praised the medical team and volunteers for their dedication. He also discussed the need for a visa processing center in Port Harcourt to enhance economic viability and revenue generation for the state.

Furthermore, he called for dialogue regarding the high costs of air travel within Africa, urging the African Union to address these issues to facilitate better connectivity across the continent.
