ADC Denies Allegations of Joining Wike's Coalition

On Tuesday, the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State refuted claims made in certain media outlets about a faction of the party merging with Nyesom Wike's Rainbow Coalition. The ADC emphasized that there is no faction within its ranks and reaffirmed its unity under the constitution and the recognized National Executive Committee (NEC), led by Distinguished Senator David Mark.

Chizy Enyi, the state publicity secretary, stated that individuals claiming to represent the ADC in these reports are not authorized leaders or spokespersons of the party and lack any mandate to act on its behalf. The ADC further expressed concern over the mention of an alleged "Ibe Kachukwu faction," challenging anyone to identify any official or recognized stakeholder associated with that name within the party in Rivers State or nationally.
