Rivers APC Denies Unauthorized List Clearing Wike's Allies

The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially denied the existence of a purported list that allegedly clears allies of Governor Nyesom Wike while dismissing supporters of Governor Siminalayi Fubara. The APC Screening Committee stated that the list, which claimed to identify 65 aspirants linked to Fubara and 33 loyal to Wike, did not originate from them and should be disregarded.

Hon. Tanko Yamowa, the party's secretary, described the circulated list as false and unauthorized.

The screening exercise, chaired by Rt. Hon.

Muraina Ajibola, has concluded without any official list being released. The APC emphasized its commitment to established procedures and timelines for publishing screening results.
