Governor Sule Clarifies Rivers State APC Crisis as Internal Party Matter

Governor Sule of Nasarawa State emphasized that the crisis in the Rivers State chapter of the APC is an internal party issue and not under the purview of the Progressive Governors' Forum (PGF). The dispute involves loyalist factions aligned with Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

Governor Sule highlighted that the APC's National Working Committee (NWC) has deployed officials to assess the situation. He also mentioned plans to integrate new members without alienating long-standing loyalists, promoting inclusivity within the party.

Despite growing internal friction, the APC remains committed to unity. The party is navigating defections and realignments while addressing the challenges in its state chapters.
