RMAFC Submits Pay Review for Political Office Holders

The Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has submitted a review of the remuneration package for political office holders to President Bola Tinubu. The submission was made public through a statement by Maryam Yusuf, the head of the public relations unit of the commission, on Wednesday.

Dr. Moham Shehu, the chairman of RMAFC, emphasized the commission's commitment to ensuring that the request for a review of political office holders' remuneration is given fair consideration.

The review process has been completed and transmitted to the President for consideration. The commission aims to support retired permanent secretaries, acknowledging their contributions to Nigeria's public service and policy formulation.

Akin Arikaw, the vice chairman of the council of retired permanent secretaries, visited the commission to strengthen collaboration and address issues affecting retired officials. The council aims to mentor younger public servants and support ongoing reforms in public administration.
