RMAFC Submits Salary Recommendations to President Tinubu

The Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has submitted its recommendations regarding the salaries of political and public officers to President Bola Tinubu. This submission was disclosed by the commission's head, Dr.

Moham Shehu, during a visit from a delegation led by the National Vice Chairman of the Council of Retired Permanent Secretaries, Akin Arikawa, at the RMAFC headquarters in Abuja. Dr.

Shehu affirmed the commission's commitment to ensuring that the review of remuneration for political and public office holders receives fair consideration. He noted that the review process has been completed and the recommendations have been forwarded to President Tinubu for consideration.

The commission aims to support retired permanent secretaries and enhance their dignity after years of service. Additionally, the council members, including Ismail Agaka and Rakiya Haruna, were acknowledged for their contributions to shaping Nigeria's economic policies and governance.
