Blue Seal to Boost FDIs in Nigeria with New Plants

Lloyd Robertson, the Chief Operating Officer of Blue Seal Energy Group, has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, including over ten years in Nigeria. He previously worked for Baker Hughes, serving in various roles from district manager in Warri in 1988 to managing director in Nigeria.

Robertson stated that Blue Seal is set to enhance foreign direct investments in Nigeria by establishing two new chemical manufacturing plants, with a production capacity of 1.7 million liters per day. He acknowledged delays in production due to internal conflicts and market dynamics but expressed optimism about future growth.

Robertson emphasized that Blue Seal aims to collaborate with end users rather than compete with them, focusing on providing just-in-time inventory solutions to improve efficiency for service companies in Nigeria.
