Rod Stewart Cancels US Tour After Heart Procedure

Sir Rod Stewart has canceled the remaining dates of his US tour after undergoing a routine coronary stent procedure at the age of 81. Doctors have advised him to recuperate for four weeks following the procedure, which is intended to address narrowed or blocked coronary arteries.

Stewart expressed his disappointment in missing the shows and thanked the medical staff for their care, stating he is already feeling better. He had been scheduled to perform 11 concerts in the US, including a six-date residency in Las Vegas, and had already canceled shows in Cincinnati and Cleveland due to what was initially described as a “minor medical procedure.” A statement on Instagram confirmed that Stewart is recovering well and has returned to his normal daily activities.
