Rotary Club Abuja Sapphire Launches School Projects

The Rotary Club Abuja Sapphire, led by President Dr. Pat Ifeanyi Oramah, inaugurated several community projects in schools located in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on an unspecified date.

The projects included the construction of six toilet facilities at a junior secondary school and the renovation of four toilet facilities at a primary school in the Damangaza Community. Dr.

Oramah emphasized the importance of education and sanitation as foundational elements for economic development, stating that the projects are intended to secure long-term impacts for the community. Various partners were acknowledged for their contributions to the initiative.

District Governor Dame Joi Okoro highlighted the significance of the projects donated by the Rotary Club Abuja Sapphire, which she noted had made the Rotary Club International proud. Mr.

Florenc Wenegiem, Chairman of the Universal Basic Education Board FCT, expressed gratitude towards the Rotary Club Abuja Sapphire and the Federal Capital Territory for their efforts to improve the welfare of citizens and promote inclusive development.
