Obiora Aghazu Installed as 10th President of Rotary Club

On Saturday, Rotarian Obiora Aghazu was installed as the 10th President of the Rotary Club Nnewi Urban at a colorful ceremony held at the Nnewi Hotel Event Center. During the event, Rtn Chigozi Nnoruka spoke about the club's commitment to fostering ideals of service and community development.

Aghazu expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead the club for the 2026-2027 Rotary year, acknowledging the support of club members and the legacy of his late father, Benson U.C. Aghazu.

He emphasized that the Rotary Club aims to transform lives through goodwill and common purpose, and he is prepared to work towards expanding membership and deepening member engagement. Aghazu also noted the importance of strengthening partnerships with businesses and public institutions during his tenure.

The ceremony included recognition of other members and their contributions to the club's mission.
