Rotary Club of Abuja Handover: Williams to Herberts

Nelly Williams, the outgoing President of the Rotary Club of Abuja, The Ambassadors, urged members to remain committed to community service as she handed over leadership to Prince Herberts during a ceremony in Abuja. Williams described her one-year tenure as marked by purpose, service, and impact, highlighting the club's projects under the theme “Unite for Good.” She emphasized that the club's greatest achievement was the lives impacted rather than the number of projects executed.

Williams expressed confidence in her successor, Herberts, who stated his administration would follow the theme “Create Lasting Impact” and expand the club's humanitarian activities. Assistant Governor Lizzy Asomugha congratulated Williams on her successful tenure, while Damka Brown, Williams' sister, and her son, Williams Ngalaba, praised her dedication to service and the positive influence she had on others.
