Rotary District 9111 to Host Interact Conference 2026

Rotary District 9111 is set to host the Interact Conference on April 17-18, 2026, at the Women Development Center in Ijaiy Ogba, Lagos. The conference theme, "Uniting Young Leaders for the Future," aims to empower young leaders aged 12-18 by developing their leadership skills and discovering the power of service above self.

Henri Akinyel, the governor of Rotary District 9111, emphasized the conference as a wonderful opportunity for young people to learn social values and responsibilities within their communities. Bukonla Alamu, the chairman of the District 9111 Interact Committee, disclosed that speakers will include Mubarak Agbaj, the district's Interact representative, and Amb.

Juliet Obi, who will discuss entrepreneurship for teenagers. Other speakers include Merci Georg Igbaf, who will address leveraging artificial intelligence for career development, and Abeni Adesanya, along with Oluwatosin Disu, who will focus on vocational empowerment and unlocking the next generation of leadership.
