Rotary seeks partnership with Plateau gov on peace, post-polio care, youth empowerment

Rotary International District 9127 is seeking a partnership with Plateau State Governor, Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, to work on peacebuilding, post-polio care, and youth empowerment initiatives. District Governor Rotarian Joy Nky Okoro commended Governor Mutfwang for creating a conducive environment for humanitarian services and expressed readiness to collaborate on these important issues.

During a courtesy visit to the Governor at the New Government House in Rayfield, Jos, Rotarian Okoro praised the Governor's consistent support for community development projects. The District Governor also sought assistance in developing a piece of land previously allocated by the state for the establishment of a Rotary International Peace Centre in Jos.

The partnership aims to further enhance efforts in promoting peace, supporting polio survivors, and empowering the youth in Plateau State.
