Baby Missing from Zamfara General Hospital Sparks Outrage

A 10-day-old baby has reportedly gone missing from Zamfara General Hospital in Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State. The infant's mother was admitted to the hospital two days after giving birth due to severe blood loss.

Alhaji Aminu Musa Magarya, the baby's grandfather, has accused the hospital's medical staff of colluding to steal his grandson. He stated that he received information suggesting that the hospital staff, particularly women, are aware of the baby's whereabouts.

The incident was reported to the police, leading to the arrest of five suspects by the Kaura Namoda Police Division. The family is seeking justice regarding the matter.

The baby was born to a daughter-in-law of Magarya, who had been in an internally displaced persons (IDP) camp in Gusau for almost four years.
