Rufai Oseni Critiques Primate Ayodele's Advice to Tinubu
On Tuesday, during Arise Television’s ‘Morning Show,’ Arise News Anchor Rufai Oseni condemned Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, for suggesting that President Bola Tinubu should stop the release of Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) documents concerning his alleged drug trafficking case. Rufai questioned the ethical stance of a religious leader who encourages individuals to conceal their past, particularly when it pertains to national integrity.
He expressed apprehension regarding the potential repercussions of President Tinubu's past legal issues on Nigeria's international reputation, implying that such matters could invite negative commentary about the country. Rufai posed rhetorical questions about the appropriateness of a shepherd advising people to hide their past, emphasizing the importance of integrity in leadership and public life.
