Rufai Oseni Critiques Primate Ayodele on Tinubu Case

During a televised discussion on Arise Television, journalist Rufai Oseni launched a verbal attack on Primate Ayodele, dismissing his stance on President Bola Tinubu's alleged drug case. Oseni questioned Ayodele's moral authority to speak on the matter, particularly in light of new developments in the case.

He referenced documents from the Montague family indicating a criminal investigation, suggesting a connection to a prior civil forfeiture process, while noting that unredacted records had not been made public. Oseni argued that instead of hiring lawyers to suppress information, Tinubu should advocate for full disclosure regarding his academic records and past.

He criticized Ayodele for advising leaders to conceal their pasts, asserting that such actions harm Nigeria's reputation internationally. Oseni emphasized the importance of national morality and strength, stating that Nigerians face ridicule abroad due to the ongoing controversy surrounding Tinubu.

Additionally, Wole Afolabi, a member of Tinubu's legal team, stated that credible evidence against the president would have led to legal actions by U.S. authorities.
