Ruger Set to Return to Music After Legal Dispute

Ruger, whose real name is Michael Olayinka, is an Afrobeat singer who gained fame with his song "Bounce." He recently faced a legal battle with his ex-girlfriend, who filed a lawsuit against him alleging emotional distress. This legal matter affected his ability to release new music and perform.

However, the situation has been resolved, allowing him to focus on his career. Ruger is now preparing to drop new music and has confirmed a series of international performances scheduled for summer in locations including Belgium, Málaga, Bali, and the United States.

He expressed gratitude to his fans for their patience and support during his absence from the music scene. Ruger left Jonz World, where he was signed under a joint venture with Sony Music Entertainment and Columbia Records, to start his own label, Blown Boi Entertainment, in January 2024.
