Cleric Urges Inclusive Governance for Ekiti's Oyebanji

Renowned cleric Sam Alo Mondai congratulated Governor Abiodun Oyebanji on his re-election as the governor of Ekiti State. In a statement released through his personal assistant, Deji Ogunbusuyi, Mondai urged Oyebanji to run an inclusive government that collaborates with various stakeholders and political groups to enhance the state's development.

He praised President Bola Tinubu for creating a peaceful atmosphere that allowed the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct a hitch-free governorship election in Ekiti State. Oyebanji emerged as the overall winner in the gubernatorial election held on Saturday, defeating candidates from 13 registered political parties, marking a record as the first sitting governor to win re-election in the state.

Mondai stressed the importance of focusing on infrastructure, agriculture, and welfare programs over the next four years, ensuring a peaceful environment for development and unity in the state.
