The economic crisis, characterized by fluctuating exchange rates and declining purchasing power, has led affluent individuals to sell personal items, including breast implants. High-end US breast implants are being sold for significantly less than their original prices, with examples showing Mentor implants originally priced at $1,820 being sold for $455, and Motiva implants originally at $2,600 listed for $390.

Experts warn that the removal and resale of these implants pose health risks, including tissue necrosis and potential rejection by the immune system, as they retain biomaterials from their original owners.
