The SANGDID Foundation, led by Barrister Ndidi Amaka Akpaumontia, successfully concluded its 'Week of Love' outreach program from March 1 to March 7, 2026. This initiative aimed to reach hundreds of vulnerable individuals and promote community development. The program, themed "Give to Gain," focused on humanitarian interventions for widows, the elderly, and children, collaborating with churches and mosques to foster unity and inclusivity. Beneficiaries received essential food items such as rice, beans, millet, sorghum, yam, onions, and garri to support their nutritional needs. Additionally, free medical services were provided at Lagbaja Canton, where hundreds of residents underwent screenings for blood pressure, malaria, typhoid, and hepatitis. The program also featured a free eye clinic, where beneficiaries received corrective glasses to improve their vision and overall quality of life. Akpaumontia emphasized the importance of supporting vulnerable groups to build healthier and more stable community units, reaffirming the foundation's commitment to sustainable community development.
