Sanwo-Olu Slashes Blue Rail Line Fares by 50% in Lagos Celebration

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has announced a 50% fare reduction for the Blue Rail Line to commemorate its second anniversary. The Blue Rail Line has successfully transported five million passengers safely since its launch in 2023, with trains running every ten minutes and making 90 trips per day.

The governor expressed pride in the system's achievements and thanked Lagosians for their support. The fare slash is a gesture of appreciation to the public for their trust and encouragement in the project.
