Ogbomoso Residents Urge Governor Makinde to Fix Roads

Residents of Ogbomoso have made a heartfelt appeal to Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, urging him to address the deteriorating condition of roads in their community, which they claim has become a "death trap." This appeal was articulated by community leader Mr. Mathew Ogunkanmi, who expressed the distress of residents following a recent accident where a car fell into a ditch near the Alamo Stream bridge.

The community has lamented the neglect from the current administration, stating that the roads have become increasingly dilapidated, contributing to frequent accidents. Mr.

Kafilat Adekunl, another resident, emphasized the urgency of the situation, noting that the poor road conditions have caused significant suffering. The appeal also included former council chairmen Alhaji Ibrahim Toskai and Alhaji Kabir Ayoad, along with current chairman Hon.

Georg Ogunlade, who acknowledged that the roads in Ogbomoso have not been rehabilitated under the current administration.
