Teacher and Students Survive Lagos Road Crash Unharmed

On Wednesday, a road accident occurred at 6:00 PM in the Onipanu area of Lagos State, involving a Suzuki Alto carrying three occupants, including two students from Lagos State Model Junior College, Igbonla, and their teacher, Mr. Joseph, a Basic Technology teacher.

The vehicle reportedly collided with a speeding Honda Accord, causing significant damage and resulting in the Suzuki Alto swinging into the opposite lane. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported, and all occupants escaped without serious injuries.

The students, Animashaun Ridwan and Ogunbamowo Michael, both in Junior Secondary School 2, experienced minor discomfort and received immediate first aid from paramedics. Olufemi Ok Osanyintolu, the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), confirmed that the victims were evacuated safely.

LASEMA urged motorists to exercise caution, adhere to speed limits, and follow traffic regulations to prevent similar accidents.
