Security Forces Thwart Daylight Raid in Kano, Recover Cattle

On a recent day in Kano, security forces successfully killed two bandits and prevented a daylight raid that aimed to steal cattle. The incident occurred when bandits, riding approximately 150 motorcycles, stormed Tsauri Town in the Shanono Local Government Area, targeting a Fulani man with 2,000 cows.

Upon learning of the situation, local residents quickly informed security personnel in nearby Goron Duts and Tsanyawa, leading to a rapid response from the police, directed by Commissioner Ibrahim Adamu Bakori. The joint security team intercepted the bandits as they attempted to flee with the stolen cattle towards Katsina.

As a result of this operation, 500 cows were recovered, and Alhaji Yahya Bagobiri, chairman of the Faruruwa Community Security Committee, commended the swift action of the security agencies, particularly the police, emphasizing the importance of their response in maintaining peace in the area.
