Odo explained that the act instructs Senate President Godswill Akpabio to formally notify lawmakers of the rescheduled session, which will commence at 11 AM in the Senate chamber. He emphasized the importance of rearranging prior commitments to ensure full attendance, as crucial decisions regarding national issues will be addressed during this session.

The reconvening follows the two-week break, allowing lawmakers to concentrate on budgetary matters and various ministerial departments and agencies.
